Here is Today's question on chemical bonding----

WHAT IS CHEMICAL BONDING?

---->Chemical bonding is a phenomenon in which chemical substances are held together by attraction of atoms to each other. This occurs due to the electrostatic force of attraction between species of opposite charges or as a result of a dipole attraction.

The two most common types of chemical bonds are ionic bonds and covalent bonds. Ionic bondsare formed by the transfer of electrons from a metal to a nonmetal resulting in the formation of a positively charged metallic ion and a negatively charged nonmeallic ion. These atoms are then held together by an ionic bond.

covalent bond is formed when electrons are shared between two nonmetals, a nonmetal and a metalloid, or between two metalloids.
